Emmanuel Umana-Kimura

At B+HARI, Emmanuel Umana-Kimura develops groundbreaking peak-performance programming and helps people realize potentials greater than they may have achieved on their own. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as a sniper, one of the most demanding and specialized roles in the armed forces. It requires elite proficiency in cognitive and physical performance.

Outside of service, he was educated in the U.S., Japan, and Costa Rica, and competed as a fencer, alpine ski racer, and golfer, the latter two of which he still instructs today. Among many things, he is an entrepreneur, an artist, and an athlete, drawing on a uniquely diverse and multifaceted set of skills and experiences to help people perform, recover, and heal.

Across all corners of his work, he seeks to expand what people are capable of, help those who need healing, invest in the youth as our future, and bring people together. Emmanuel remains personally committed to trauma recovery, brain injury, mind health, and suicide prevention.
