Dr. Courtnee Nunokawa, DNP, APRN-Rx, AGPCNP-BC, DipACLM, BCN, board-certified in Primary Care, Lifestyle Medicine, and Neurofeedback Rehabilitation, is a scientific faculty member of B+HARI, and a leader in the integration of neuroplasticity and clinical practice.

As an Assistant Professor and Doctor of Nursing Practice Program Director at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Nursing, she helps shape the future of doctoral-prepared nurses and clinicians.

Courtnee brings profound clinical depth to B+HARI, with extensive experience serving populations facing high neurological burdens and complex social determinants of health (SDOH), including veterans returning from war, incarcerated individuals, those experiencing homelessness, and patients with severe PTSD.

Through her clinic, BALANCED BRAIN, she approaches brain health through personalized values, neuro-rehabilitation & plasticity and lifestyle medicine.

Through her work with B+HARI, she is dedicated to advancing cognitive resilience and reserves by bridging the gap between cutting-edge neurological research and the community.
